- A Safe, Clean and Pleasant City “To ensure that an effective range of cleansing, refuse and street services are provided to maintain and enhance the environment of the city for residents, business and visitors alike; and to ensure that community safety measures are integrated into everything that we do.”
- Healthy Living “To create a healthy and socially inclusive city through effective regeneration, health,
housing and antipoverty strategies, founded on the principles of partnership, fairness and equality.”
- Culture, Learning and Leisure “To create best and widest possible opportunities for culture, leisure, sporting and educational development for local people, and further enhance the city’s attractions and
facilities for visitors.”
