Background of Organisation
A national body that brings together organisations throughout the UK who have an interest in the development of young people through activities afloat. Special focus upon the use of sailing in education during the curriculum and in extra curricular activity. The association was established in the 1950s & is open to schools, youth organisations & sailing clubs. There is also a supportive network of commerical organisations. There is a network of county associations that help extend local action on to district, regional and national action.
