Background of Organisation
The Portishead Cruising Club originated in Portishead Dock. The Club moved to Pill in 1976 and took up residence in the old boathouse of the Pill/Shirehampton ferry.
Organisational Objectives
Sailing, boat racing. Cruising allows people to learn the pilotage of the Channel in the safety of company. There are also social events including every Monday of every month from a guest speaker.
