From the 1st October 2004, the Severn Estuary Partnership have taken on the role of implimenting the Managment Scheme for the Severn Estuary Marine Site.
The Association of Severn Estuary Relevant Authorities (ASERA) completed the production of the Managment scheme in September 2004 and have now contrracted the SEP for two days a week to ensure that the document is used as a working tool to help the organisations around the Estuary fufill their statutory nature conservation obligations, and protect the species and habitats for which the site is designated.
